Evermild GLDA-30 - COSMOS-certified sustainable chelating agent

The cosmetics industry is becoming increasingly aware of the environmental impact. As a result, more biodegradable agents are replacing some traditional chelating agents. Especially if we take into consideration the manufacturing process of many of them, as not only do they come from hazardous substances, such as formaldehyde, but also their production process is highly corrosive and the residues left by their production are also harmful to human health and the environment.  

Evermild GLDA-30, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, is an amino acid-derived chelating agent with low environmental impact, no toxic processes, and no hazardous emissions. It is a high-quality ingredient, obtained through green technology (biochemical conversion of plant material), being more respectful with the skin and the environment. 

Therefore, its use is recommended as an alternative to reduce or replace the percentage of EDTA in cosmetic formulations.
