Mental health and nutritional phospholipids
It is increasingly recognized how the COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on people's mental health.
Some groups, such as healthcare workers, young people, people living alone and those already suffering from mental health conditions before the pandemic, have been particularly affected.
While it is true that many factors are involved in good mental health, a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition are essential.
Focused on raw materials used in porducts which are beneficial for health, IMPAG IBERIA offers different nutritional phospholipids that enhance mentall performance with the most appropriate ingredients.
Neuroserine for cognitive function support
Neuroserine is a fraction of phosphatidylserine available in different concentrations (20 to 70%). The brain is especially rich in phosphatidylserine, the so-called "brain phospholipid". Phosphatidylserine crosses the blood-brain barrier and is incorporated into brain cells, promoting long-term and short-term memory, learning, concentration and communication.
Phosphatidylserine and DHA: Eggomega & Lecimarine for memory enhancement
Eggomega & Lecimarine are mixtures of phosphatidylcholine + DHA in the form of phospholipids from eggs and fish eggs respectively. This particular form of DHA, which is the final and active form within human cells, shows improved incorporation into tissues, including the brain. It improves cell functionality with benefits in memory processes.
Phosphatidylcholine is the best storage form of choline, a precursor of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in attention and memory.
Neuroserine and Phosphamax for mental stress management
Neuroserine & Phosphamax are respectively mixtures of concentrated phosphatidylserine (Neuroserine 20 to 70%) and phosphatidic acid (Phosphamax 70P). The synergistic effect of these two phospholipids in the brain induces better stress management by down-regulating ACTH and cortisol releases, which has a beneficial impact on work stress in adults and on exam preparation in students.
