• You develop and implement business strategies to drive growth in the Pharma sector
• You prepare and manage the segment budget with local management boards and the pharma team
• You recognize strategic market changes and trends, and adapt the strategic orientation accordingly

• You develop and manage a robust and value-adding portfolio of suppliers and products for customers in coordination with local responsibilities
• You expand business with existing supply partners to other geographical areas and identify and onboard new key suppliers

You are a market developer

• You identify and capitalize on new business opportunity and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
• You proactively acquire new customers and manage key accounts in coordination with local responsibilities

You are an innovator

• You drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Pharma segment, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends

You are a Cross-Functional Collaborator

• You work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration and execution of business strategies
• You create synergies between countries and other market segments

You feel responsible for Sustainability and Regulatory Compliance

• You oversee the execution of the Group’s environmental and quality strategy within the segment, ensuring regulatory compliance in collaboration with the regulatory department

• You have a proven track record in business development, preferably within the B2B Pharma distribution industry (Excipients, API’s, Nutraceuticals, Medical Device)
• You have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, lead, and motivate a diverse team
• You are a strategic thinker, entrepreneurial with a hands-on mentality and you have the ability to drive long-term business growth
• You are innovative and forward-thinking, with a willingness to challenge the status quo
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• You have a good understanding of intercultural differences and the capability to adapt accordingly
• You have a proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving
